Raducanu, who had only completed seven bouts before quitting, decided not to seek a wild card after saying she might be fit for Eastbourne.
She may choose to play a match at next week’s Giorgio Armani Tennis Classic at Hurlingham Club, but assuming she’s fit, she’ll be heading into her home Grand Slam with very limited grass preparations .
